Les beaux jours sont encore là, et vous connaissez déjà bien Paris car ce n'est pas la première fois que vous venez. Vous avez envie de passer une journée dépaysante, dans un grand parc, et pas
trop loin de Paris, facile d'accès par les transports en commun. Dans ce cas, je vous suggère d'aller visiter Saint-Germain-en-Laye. On peut y aller en voiture mais aussi en RER (ligne A) que vous
pouvez prendre dans le centre de Paris, à Chatelet, Opéra ou Etoile par exemple.
Au coeur de la forêt de Saint Germain, il y a un superbe château à visiter, un grand parc avec une vue panoramique sur tout Paris, et en prenant un petit train, vous pouvez également aller vous amuser à la fête des loges (en juillet et aout seulement). Il y a quelques restaurants sympa. Bref, il y a de quoi passer une bonne journée champêtre, éventuellement avec vos enfants.
Non loin du château, vous pouvez également aller voir un grand hotel, le Pavillon Henri IV, qui possède un restaurant et une terrasse panoramique. Dans cet hôtel, vous pouvez voir la chambre natale de Louis XIV.

The sun is still present, and you know already Paris because you have been there many times. You have a whole day to spend and you would prefer to go out of Paris to breath in a big garden and visit something historical, maybe with your children. In that case, I suggest you to go to Saint Germain en Laye. It's a beautiful suburb in the west of Paris, easily reachable by car or by RER (the big metro) line A. You can take it in Paris Center, for example at Chatelet, Opera or Etoile.
You will see a beautiful castle, with a huge garden and you will have a panoramic sight on Paris. If you take a little touristic train, you can cross the forest and go to the "Fêtes des Loges", a well-known funfair (only July and August). In Saint Germain in Laye you will find easily some restaurants.
Not far from the castle, you can visit a luxuous hotel, "le Pavillon Henri IV", which offers a panoramic terrace and where you can visit the native room of our famous king Louis XIV.
