Il y a des coins de Paris qui sont rarement visités par les touristes. Et pourtant c'est dommage car il y a parfois des choses étonnantes à voir même dans des arrondissements résidentiels ou
populaires. Le Canal Saint-Martin traverse le 10ème arrondissement (dans l'Est de Paris entre Bastille et Jaurès) et c'est vraiment un endroit agréable pour y faire des promenades. Au détour de
l'un des ponts mobiles, on peut voir l' Hôtel du Nord qui a donné son nom à un film mythique où Arletty a dit sa célèbre réplique : "Atmosphère....".
Ce canal artificiel a été percé à l'époque de Napoléon pour permettre l'acheminement de marchandises dans Paris depuis la mer du Nord. Ce quartier populaire revient très à la mode et le dimanche,
on peut y faire du vélo car les quais sont fermés aux voitures. En outre, il y a également des balades en bateau. A faire si vous voulez sortir des sentiers battus !
