Les stations de métro de Guimard

Voici quelques très belles photos que Ute, une visiteuse Allemande m'a envoyée suite à sa visite à Paris. Il s'agit d'une des stations de métro faites par Hector Guimard lors de la création du métro en 1900. Sur ces photos, vous pouvez voir la station de métro "Quatre Septembre". Cet architecte a proposé ces jolies stations pour rendre le métro attrayant à l'époque où les gens avaient peut de descendre sous terre. Mais ces stations ont été controversées, certains disant que les jeunes filles ne devaient pas descendre dans ce métro car la forme de ces stations rappelaient les organes sexuelles féminins et pouvaient de ce fait donner de mauvaises idées aux hommes. Mais c'était il y a 100 ans ! Vous pouvez voir l'oeuvre de Guimard en suivant le lien ci-dessous. NB : il reste à Paris encore 3 stations d'origine, mais celle-ci n'en fait pas partie.

Here are some very beautiful photos taken by Ute, a German visitor when she came to visit Paris. Here is one of the metro stations made by Hector Guimard when the Parisian Metro was created in 1900. You can see here the metro station "Quatre Septembre" . This architect has made these beautiful stations to give the metro convenient at this time where people were afraid to go underground. But these stations were controversed, some people were saying that young girls shouldn't go there due to the fact that these stations have the look of the feminin sexual organ and so that they could give bad idea to men. that's an interesting one
I too took many photos of the few still remaining bouches métro and I think they are a fanstatic testimonial to a great architect.
